Mary is a brand new addition to MLC in 2008.   She comes to the band most recently from The Heat Band, a local DFW party and wedding band, where she played with Robert (below).

Mary is a master of vocals and front person that entertains the audience like no other!!!

Mary also plays acoustic guitar and percussion.  She is an international rock star and has performed in front of 1,000's of people in several countries.  In fact, she is headed to Iraq very soon to entertain the troops.

Don't miss the opportunity to hear Mary sing and hear her awesome vocals!!!  Check out the demo page for a sample.

Robert Teagarden -  Lead Guitar, Vocals

MLC is privileged to feature Robert Teagarden on Lead Guitar, vocals and percussion. Coming to us from his most recent project, The Heat Band, Robert is a Texas musician, and music lover of all styles.

Robert comes from a family of professional and nationally known musicians. Robert is the grandson of Jack Teagarden, trombonist and big band leader, who played with the likes of Ben Pollack, Paul Whiteman, and Louis Armstrong and The All Stars.

Robert has played in bands such as Big stuff, Hoot Brothers, Brown Sugar, and Powerful People. He has also been the opening act for Tito Puente, Los Lobos, and World Cup Soccer.

Robert's primary musical influences have been his grandfather, Jack Teagarden, Carlos Santana, Freddy King, Stevie Wonder, and above all, his father, Jack Teagarden Jr., also a trombonist and big band leader, who taught him a love of music and life which Robert lives and plays by to this day.

You are sure to leave the event with a great big "WOW", once you hear him on guitar!!

"Brian "T" - Rhythm and Lead Guitar, Vocals

Brian. is a master musician and technician on the guitar. He makes his Gibson Les Paul sing on his phenomenal leads. His name may be better known for his songwriting and guitar work with several local and national recording personalities. Brian's songwriting and musical style can be called homage to early Elton John, Little Feat, Dylan and Tom Petty, yet is uniquely original as is evidenced by former influences.

While with a well renowned national recording act...his band's first CD found its way to the band Counting Crows, who asked him to open for them on their 2002 fall tour. Following that tour, many other bands asked Brian and his band to open for them, including Maroon 5, John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Kelly Clarkson and Guster.

Brian has a long musical resume of performing in front on tens of thousands of people in both small venues and large arenas. Don't miss the opportunity to hear his awesome guitar work!!!

You may also find Brian playing country cover tunes on his guitar with his other band....Brenham Lights, another "must see" band.

John "JD" Smith - Bass Guitar, Harmonica, Horns

JD has been an active musician since he was in middle school and has a formal musical background. An accomplished musician, he loves to learn new styles, instruments, and expand his musical experiences and knowledge. Not only can he play a good bass lick, he can also play the harmonica, trombone, and saxophone.

He was influenced in his early years by groups such as Pink Floyd, Supertramp and the awesome brass sounds of the Blues Brothers. Rock is JD's life, but he loves all genres of music and is active in the music community by founding the Frisco Community Band and acting as president the last four years. He's performed with the Texas Tech marching band, church gigs, community concerts, musicals, and seasonal ensembles.

Bob Fors - Drums, Vocals

Bob has been hitting the skins since way back in high school in Michigan.  His first musical influences were The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and Styx.  His first song he learned on drums was "Carry On my Wayward Son" by Kansas, and of course "Stairway to Heaven" by Zeppelin.

Bob has been playing off and on in mostly classic rock cover bands since then.  He also dabbles in song writing and playing guitar here and there.  His niche is keeping a steady beat and enjoying the musicians he plays behind, as well as ensuring that every member of the audience goes away having enjoyed the show.

Bob, the founder of MidLife Crisis, serves the band as the Band Leader, Marketing Department, Finance and Payroll, HR and Sound Engineer.
